Afghan Shepherd (Kuchi, alternatively spelled Coochi, Koochee and English) - dog, takes its name from the nomadic people of Afghanistan. Great guards to protect herds of cattle from wolves, predators and thieves. Coat color is quite diverse.

Afghan Shepherd is inextricably linked to a nomadic life in remote and harsh regions. This breed has a rich gene pool, and the dogs are well able to adapt to different conditions. This breed is characterized by extreme endurance, courage, strength and agility. As well, these dogs are very intelligent and reliable assistants. Sometimes they do not even need special training.
